Vinicius: The Spanish League belongs to the racists

Real Madrid footballer Vinicius Junior says the Spanish league "belongs to the racists" after fans racially abused him again. Real Madrid lost 1-0 away to Valencia last night and Vinicius was sent off in the seventh minute of stoppage time. with Valencia striker Hugo Dura.

During the match, the 22-year-old Brazilian tried to alert the referee about a Valencia fan who insulted him, causing the game to be briefly suspended.

"The league that used to belong to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano and Messi now belongs to the racists." It's not the first time, not the second time, not the third time. Racism is normal in La Liga. "This competition takes it for granted and so does the Football Association and the opponents who promote it," Vinicius said on Instagram.

Since Vinicius came to Spanish football in 2018, he has been repeatedly racially abused by fans.

The Spanish league has filed criminal charges against several Valladolid fans for hate crimes after racist chants against Vinicius.

The league has made several complaints to the authorities over racial slurs and the competition's body recently stepped up video surveillance at Real matches.

"A beautiful nation that welcomed me and that I love, but has agreed to paint the world in the image of a racist country." Sorry for the Spaniards who disagree, but today in Brazil Spain is considered a racist country. And sadly I don't have cover for everything that happens on a weekly basis. But I am strong and I will do anything against racists. It's not even far from here," Vinicius added.

The Spanish league said in a statement that it had been fighting this type of behavior for years and was not simply promoting the positive values of sport on and off the pitch, the BBC reported.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said the whole stadium was screaming obscenities and that was unacceptable.

"I don't want to talk about football, it's useless. I told the referee he should stop the game. La Liga has a problem. In my opinion, Vinicius is the most important player in the world. La Liga has a problem, these episodes of racism must stop. "I would also say that we are 3-0 up, there is no other way," said Ancelotti.
