2,400 weather activists had been arrested in Holland

 



Demonstrators call for the Dutch authorities to quit subsidies to the fossil industry.


Holland’s the police say they arrested 2,four hundred climate activists on Saturday. The news business enterprise Reuters and a Dutch newspaper file on the problem, among others The Telegraph. Some of these arrested are minors.


Activists had participated in the Elokapina demonstration on the A12 dual carriageway main to The Hague. In general, it was estimated that there had been more than 10,000 participants.


Demonstrators demand the Dutch authorities to give up subsidies for fossil fuels. Elokapini has stated it'll hold to protest till nation subsidies to the oil and gasoline industry are ended.


Protesters blocked the dual carriageway, and police used water cannons to disperse the group.
