A effective explosion in the Turkish port of Deringe

At least 13 humans were injured this afternoon as a result of a effective explosion that took place in the port of Deringe in the west of Turkey. According to the local authorities, because of the explosion, 13 of the 16 elevators supposed for grain garage had been damaged.

According to the preliminary model, the cause of the explosion was “the detonation of grain dust being transported to the warehouse from one of the parked ships”.

“We are aware that such an explosion is technically possible, but we hold to analyze the reasons of the incident,” stated Kojaeli Governor Serdar Yavuz in a verbal exchange with journalists.
